Recently, our school successfully held a special educational event to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March.
During lunchtime, the school hall hosted the "Long March Quest" interactive exhibition, a historical display covering seven legendary milestones: "The Night Crossing of Yudu," "The Bloody Battle at Xiang River," "The Four Crossings of Chishui River," etc. Students actively engaged with the exhibition and took part in a history quiz to deepen their understanding.
Afterwards, Secondary Three students attended a special lesson on the theme "Learning the Long March Spirit, Marching Forward into the New Era." By reviewing classic documentary footage, students learned about the nation's arduous path of development, inspiring them to embrace pragmatism and perseverance. As they reflect on the past, our students begin to look ahead to their own journey — and to the opportunities won for them by that generation 90 years ago.
