On the morning of October 18th, nearly one hundred parents gathered for the "Parent Tea Gathering 2025", a warm and engaging event hosted by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The gathering also included a seminar on "How to Handle Children's Internet Addiction”, offering practical guidance and support for digital-age parenting. This gathering was part of the Heung To Secondary School's 80th Anniversary celebration series.
The activity which aimed to inform parents about the events organized by the PTA for the current academic year, provided a platform for them to share their participation experiences, foster communication between the school and parents, and promote positive educational philosophies.
The gathering commenced with speeches from the Vice Principal, Mr. Ho Sze Hang, and the PTA's Vice Chairman, Mr. Li Ho. Mr. Ho Ping Kuen, honorary advisor to the PTA, and several parent volunteers shared their personal parenting experiences and their gains and insights from participating in PTA activities. Ms. Wong Nga Lai, the coordinator, provided a detailed introduction to the PTA's main activities and parent education courses for the current year.
