The competition brought together finalists from 17 regions worldwide, including Bulgaria, Cuba, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, South Korea, Macau, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Thailand, and Shanghai. Held at one of Vienna's most prestigious classical music stages, the competition showcased the diverse talents and extraordinary musicianship of these young minds.
The Heung To Middle School Choir delivered an exceptional performance, winning the First Runner-up in the Choir category and earning notable distinction for Hong Kong, China.
Their outstanding performance not only earned international acclaim but also secured them the honor of delivering the opening act at the celebration of the 98th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Liberation Army. At the grand ceremony held by the Chinese Embassy in Austria, our Choir’s exceptional vocal artistry and technique were highly praised, reflecting the musical talent and spirit of today’s youth in our nation.
