Officers and soldiers from the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Garrison in Hong Kong recently visited Heung To Middle School to deliver hands-on instruction to our Flag-Raising Team, coaching them in ceremonial etiquette and Chinese-style foot drills.
Throughout the training, our team members showed interest, commitment and respect for the PLA personnel. Following the drill practice, students enthusiastically engaged in interactive conversations with the military officers, gaining a deeper understanding of daily military life and national defence.
This meaningful event not only enhanced the technical skills of our Flag-Raising Team, but also deepened our students' patriotism and sense of national identity.
