本校於剛過去的年度，參加了康文署舉辦的英語音樂劇計劃 “Groovy”，我校三十多位中三同學與福建中學(觀塘)合作參與其中，在過去一年，各同學努力排練，學習唱歌、演戲、跳舞，為的是準備把一套完美的表演呈現在觀眾眼前。在剛過去的七月二十二日，更於屯門大會堂作盛大公演，與各觀眾分享他們整年努力的成果。學生在這次音樂劇的排練過程及表演中都有很大的得著，亦豐富了他們的經歷，更令他們信心大增。

    Heung To Middle School staged its first ever English musical Groovy this summer on 22 July at Tuen Mun Town Hall. Thirty secondary three students were selected to take part in the English Musical Theatre Animateur Scheme, in which they received a yearlong professional training in singing, acting and dancing. After a year’s practice and preparation, the students brought us a fantastic musical extravaganza and gained thunderous applause from the audience. Besides feeling proud of their own achievement, students also appreciated the chance to expose to authentic English and to greatly improve their spoken English.
